The Multiport Selector Valve (MSV) is a compact manifold system with multiple inlets and two outlets. All the wells streams are connected to a single body including the specially designed internal selector that allows the possibility to select and divert the fluids from one well to the test line while all the other wells remain connected to the production header through the one operation point multi-way valve production manifold.
With this configuration up to seven wells can be connected to each MSV, leaving one inlet free for field seal integrity testing and allowing tandem installations of multiple MSV sharing a single test header featuring in line a Multiphase Flow Measurement System or Test Separator.
The MSV has been also successfully used in water, gas and / or CO2 injection for Enhanced Oil Recovery projects. In those cases, the common inlet is diverted to multiple injection points allowing the use of the test line, to calibrate each injection point volume, one at a time.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/3″][vc_single_image image=”5673″ img_size=”full”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/3″][vc_single_image image=”5674″ img_size=”full”][/vc_column][vc_column width=”2/3″][vc_column_text]The MSV positioning system consist of an Electric-mechanic actuator specifically designed and configured for simplicity and reliability. The Multiport Selector Valve presents several advantages in comparison to a conventional manifold because have only one operation point for the control of up to seven wells versus fourteen or seven operation points for conventional two-way or three-way valves production manifolds. These advantages provide the Owner with important benefits, among other:
Reduces CAPEX Cost:
Reduces Operation Cost:

One Product, your complete solution tested in the factory / shop and is received at the field ready to install. The Multiport Selector Valve (MSV) Compact Manifold includes an electric actuator, inlet and outlet pipes, valves, instrumentation and electrical facilities as well as operation platforms provided on a structural skid as a self-contained unit for easy procurement, transportation, installation and operation
The integrated and compact solution is fabricated, assembled and tested in factory / Shop and is received at field ready to install over a concrete pad or field supports, for immediate well connection and subsequent operation. The compact design and space saving designs make this concept ideal for both onshore and offshore applications.
These solutions allow in-shop fabrication, inspection and FAT providing a more reliable and cost-effective solution reducing the complicated and costly field execution and management, while reducing risk to the Owner.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_single_image image=”5701″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center”][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_single_image image=”5703″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]
Automatic System
The automatic System may include instrumentation for pressure, temperature and flow measurement equipment as required to be integrated and controlled by a local PLC that allows satellite installation and remote operation with automatic well testing routines.
MSV sizing, rating, connecting pipes, valve sizes and type, and material of construction will depend on the application and customer requirements with a wide range of choices to fit the specific service.
Manual System
In the Manual System, the MSV operation is done manually using a lever type positioning device. The manual system does not take full advantage of the concept but it is still a competitive solution compared to the conventional manifold due to the compact design and readiness for future automation.

E&P Operators adopting the MSV solution have achieved significant test manifold are relevant especially in constrained areas as well as in scheduled execution
MSV solution has allowed them to lower commissioning, operation and maintenance costs. Optimization on weight and footprint of a test manifold are relevant specially in constrain areas as well as well as in schedule execution.
E&P companies that have replaced traditional manifold systems with a single point operation and fully automated MSV Solution has allow them to lowered commissioning, operation and maintenance costs while improving Safety and Environmental performance indicators.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
